World Tiger Day was celebrated @ Gadag Zoo on 29th July 2019. Around 60 students were participated in this program. 

World Snake Day was celebrated @Gadag Zoo on 27th July 2019. Around 100 students were participated in this event & they were briefed about the importance of Snakes in ecosystem , behavior or snakes & peculiarities of snakes.

A workshop on illegal wildlife trade &wildlife protection act was conducted by 'Human Society International Organization' at Gadag Zoo on 07-07-2019.All forest department staff of Gadag division were participated in the workshop.

The Tiger and Lion safari at Kamalapur, near Hampi, in Ballari district — third after the safaris at Bannerghatta and Shivamogga — Tiger Lion Safari has been inaugurated by the Hon’ble Forest Minister, Govt. of Karnataka, and thrown open to public on June 21.

As part of 1 day zoo study tour ,48 1st year BVSc&AH students from Gadag Veterinary college were visited Gadag zoo on 7-6-20119.They were briefed about the Veterinary ,enrichment,feed & zoo managemental aspects.

'World Environmental Day' was celebrated @ Gadag zoo on 05-06-2019,by involving Juficial officers, all district level officers of all departments &  300 students.
