About the zoo

Bannerghatta Biological Park is located at about 22 Kms from Bangalore and covers 732 hectares. It is one among the few places in the world where wilderness is preserved so close to a big city. There is a Lion and Tiger Safari where the animals are kept in semi wild conditions in their respective enclosures and the visitors are taken in protected vans.
