About the zoo

The Mini Zoo at Binkadakatti in Gadag Taluk of Gadag District was established during 1972, the area of Mini Zoo is 16.01 Ha. The said Mini Zoo is 4 Km away from Gadag City and 1 Km away from Binkadakatti village. At present the Zoo falls in ‘Small Zoo’ Category as per the classification of Zoos by the Central Zoo Authority. Approximately more than 70,000 visitors visits this zoo annually
