About the zoo

Adumalleshwara Mini Zoo at Chitradurga was established on 12-04-1987 and its total area is 8.5 Ha In survey no. 26 of Chitradurga village. Chitradurga district is centrally located in the state of Karnataka. Lakhs of people visit the famous Chitradurga Fort throughout the year. It is just adjoining to Adumalleshwara Zoo. Hence the Zoo draws lot of importance along with other places of interest in the district.
