awareness session was based on ecological importance of primates. Even though monkeys are found commonly very little is know or is of interest to the public hence the aim of this session was create awareness about primates and  the important role they play and how we can support them by not feeding them directly and instead plant native fruit bearing species which they can feed on.

Primate species housed in the zoo, difference between macaques and langurs, significance of RH factor and the role monkeys play in seed dispersal were shared with visitors along with our volunteer
