On the fifth day of the Gadag Zoo summer camp, students delved into the vital importance of conserving species, focusing particularly on umbrella species through conservation education sessions. Later, they engaged in hands-on activities, learning about the significance of indirect evidence in wildlife surveys by crafting Pug mark POP castings. They also gained insights into the feed and fodder utilized for the zoo animals. Wrapping up the day, students showcased their understanding of the information acquired over the past five days through oral presentations.
