ಆನೆ ಗಳು  ಸೇವಿಸುವ ಆಹಾರದ  ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ವರ್ಗ ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ  ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡರು.

ಹೇಗೆ ಆನೆಗಳು ಆಹಾರ  

ಸೇವಿಸಿ ವಿಸರ್ಜನೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಸಗಣಿ ಇಂದ "ಬೀಜ ಪ್ರಸರಣ" ಉಂಟಾಗುತ್ತದೆ, 

ಸಗಣಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾಲು ಗುರುತಿ ನಿಂದ ಪತ್ತೆ ಮಾಡುವ ವಿಧಾನ 

ಏಷ್ಯಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಫ್ರಿಕಾ  ಆನೆ ಗಳಿಗೆ  ಇರುವ ವ್ಯತ್ಯಾಸ 

ಕಪಿಗಳು ,ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ಕರಡಿ ಮುಂತಾದ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳು ಹೇಗೆ ಬೀಜ  ಪ್ರಸರಣ ಮಾಡಿ ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯ ಸಮತೋಲನ ಕಾಯ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಹಕಾರ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿವೆ

Awareness session conducted by staff and volunteer on diet of elephants at the zoo, their role in seed dispersal through their dung and identification through dung and foot print. Difference between Asian and African Elephant was also explained as well as role of other animals such as monkeys, birds and bears in seed dispersal to maintain a balance in the ecosystem.
