Global Tiger Day is celebrated every year on July 29th as a way to raise awareness about this magnificent but endangered big cat.

Tiger Day was held at the Shimoga Zoo for MSc students studying in wildlife and management.

The following are the sessions 

*Tiger conservation talk by vinayaka S.G (wildlife conservationist)

*Tiger identification and camera trap demonstration by shravan sutthar (Senior Research Assistant,Nature conservation foundation)
