Good evening sir, today's zoo club session was based on adaptations of birds which included an activity for the members to identify the different features of the birds, housed in the zoo followed by behavioural observation. This was followed by a talk about evolutionary history, general features, adaptations birds have for flight, migration, threats they face and their ecological importance by zoo club members. The members also had a chance to interact with our Assistant Director (Veterinary Services ) to understand their role in management, maintenance and conservation of wild life.
